FILM IS ALL ABOUT WEAVING A GREAT STORY FOR YOUR AUDIENCE & EDITING IS NOT ONLY ABOUT BEING TECHNICALLY COMPETENT BUT IT ABOUT CREATING A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ACTORS ON SCREEN.

HOW TO APPROACH

SCRIPTED EDITING.

  1. How many characters have speaking lines.

  2. How many reactions are important for us to see.

  3. What is the tone of the scene;

  • Tense.

  • Argumentative.

  • Pondering

  • Romantic.

ARE THERE ANY PROPS OR ENVIRONMENTAL DETAILS WE NEED TO NOTICE OR BE CONSTANTLY TRACKING.

-The Hero's journey in Film. Is it a Transformative Story. A Call To Action. What obstacles can we as an audience empathise with the character/characters in the films and scenes. .
